What is the difference between Distraction and Diversion? It is possible that Genesis 16 is the greatest diversion since Genesis 3. In spite of that, there are epic "firsts" in this chapter that pertain to Hagar. There is Misdirection and Misconceptions, a maidservant becomes a matriarch, and there's a gender reveal party.
